We have been receiving numerous concerns regarding the taste of Santé PureBarley 3g powder. This refers to the latest batch produced February 2012 and expiring February 2014.
We have communicated this with our partners in New Zealand. See below an excerpt from their reply:
'Claridges Organic Barley whole leaf powder is an all natural product, and may therefore be subject to seasonal colour and flavour variations. The certified organic farmers growing our crops adhere strictly to the protocols of organic production.
Each season there are a multitude of factors at play in the growth of our crops – these include the total amount of rainfall received, the timing of that rainfall and / or irrigation applications across the growth stages, the location of the farm where the crop was grown and even the paddock ( i.e. field) position within any one farm – which will introduce soil type variations, the total sunshine hours received by a crop, the time of year the crop was grown – either autumn or spring sown, the plant variety grown – often selected to suit either an autumn or a spring planting and the soil temperature over the growth period – both mean temperature and the temperature range. TO KICK of the year Santé International started with a big bang holding its first awards night entitled "Unang Salvo, Bonggang Milyonaryo" recently held at Crossroad 77 Convenaruim in Quezon City.
The program began with loud cheering and exciting drum exhibitions from different teams of Santé distributors representing their respective cities and provinces including Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Batangas, Antipolo, and Mindanao. The event was attended by more than 1,000 people who also enjoyed free products and 50 percent off on all Santé products.

April Boy now cancer-free

October 14, 2011, 8:54 A.M.MANILA, Philippines -- The news that April Boy Regino was suffering from prostate cancer shocked the local entertainment industry recently. April Boy and his family had just come back from the U.S.
The singer confirmed that he indeed incurred hardships in America. He said he brought his family to the U.S. after robbers broke into their home here, and after their car was stolen. He thought in America, life would be much easier, and that they would be much safer there.
At first, he had concerts to do, and then he and his wife Madelyn established their own production outfit called Idol Production to produce April Boy's own concerts.
It wasn't easy at all, doing all the work, even driving for 18 hours straight to be where he would be performing. He soon found himself jobless. His American dream was slowly turning into a nightmare.
And to make matters worse , he found out he had prostate cancer. He is also diabetic and hypertensive. Depressed, he decided to go back to the Philippines to rebuild his singing career. His brother-in-law recommended that he tried taking Santé Pure Barley grass capsules which reportedly have cured prominent people including actress Maritoni Fernandez.
April Boy started taking the food supplement. He regained his strength and even his virility. And when they returned to the US (he and his family are now US citizens) sometime ago, his doctors pronounced him healthy.
